Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and Paul Revere's historic ride by making Hobby Horses to ride in the annual July 3rd Children's Parade sponsored by the Sharon Recreation Department and the Sharon Independence Day Celebration Committee.

The Sharon Historical Society will be hosting several drop in events at which children will be able to create glorious hobby horses for the parade out of out of pool noodles, ribbons, garlands, googly eyes, felt, and tape. Please join us on

Wednesday June 24th from 2-5 in Community Room at the Sharon Public Library on 1 School Street

And at the Sharon Historical Society at 16 High Street on

Friday June 26th from 2-4
Saturday June 27th from 1-4
Sunday June 28th from 3-5
